INDUSTRIAL WANTONNESS.
(Per Press Assootation.) Auckland, December 21. The Marama was ready for departure for Vancouver 'at 3 a.m. and had a full complement of men up to that time, but two firemen and one trimmer put their belongings-ashore and declined to proceed, having probably determined' to spend Christmas ashore. The Marama went into the. stream and the necessary men were obtained from the Mokoia, and she got away at 6.30 p.m.
