Mncli overtime with no extra, pay is the fate of the judges here this week. Last night Mr Justice Chapman sat till 10 o'clock. A pile of work has to he cleared away before the long vacation starts. The Chief Justice is an inveterate "overtimer" : he has been seen at his desk in his private room at the Supreme Court at 7 a.m., and many a time he has been back at night cheerfully. Sir Robert Stout is certainly one of.the Dominion's most' incessant toilers.
