AIRSHIP WRECKED.

CARBURETTERS FROZE. [By Electric Telegrafh-j-Copybight.] (Per Pbess Association.) Received December 18, at 10.15 a.m. London, December 18.

The dirigible Beta with four passengers started on an experimental voyage from London. The carburetters froze causing a breakdown and the Beta, alighted on some trees fringing the Empress Eugenie's residence at Famboro Hill. The cage was damaged and the occupants were severely shaken, having been suspended for some time. A bough pierced the envelope of the airship, which deflated, and thus released- the ship. The Beta then sank to the ground and was wrecked.
