Mr M'Oowen, accompanied: by Messrs Hblman and Griffiths ■, and ; several other members, yesterday declared Government House grounds open for the public. A large gathering proved extremely noisy, and Mr M'Gowen's speech was only partially heard above the cheering and.hooting. •; The opponents of the Goattitude in this matter endeavored unsuccessfully to make themselves heard.
