FIRE IN CHRISTCHURCH.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch. June 11. Isv an outbreak tu fire in a house at; the corner of Barbadoes and Hereford' streets to-night two elderly ladies (Miss' Williamson, aged 77. and Miss Henry.: aged 6S) were badly burned, and were, taken to the hospital. 'The fire started; in a wardrobe, and the old ladies, whose; evosights are rather poor, found it difficult to get out d? the house. Theircries attracted: a passer-by, who jumped through a. window and led them out.
