REST FOR POLICEMEN.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, July 12. At a Presbytery meeting the Committee on Rellg ; on and Morals recommended that the Minister for,-Justice be -asked! to secure as large .a,.'measure as possible, of iSuhday rest for policemen, : who,- .under present "conditions, have no opportunity to attend church. It was stated that policemen, have been called upon to perform duty seven' Sundavs in sticcession. The Presbytery deferred! consideration until next meeting.
