MONDAY, JUNE 10th, 1912. ' (Be'rore Mr T. Hutchison, S.M.) —Obtaining Liouor. — Richard Joseph Bryan was charged with obtaoiuing liquor during the currency of a prohibition order. Mi- E P Lee appeared for his detence and pleaded guilty. Mr Lee said that Brvati had intended going down to ■Duncdin in the night goods tram and took a bottle of whisky in his oag.- At the station the .police asked him what was in the bag and searched it. Jhej found the bottle of whisky, and, unfortunately, Bryan gave a wrong explanation, saying that it belonged to another A fine of 10s and costs 7s Was inflicted. —Maintenance. — Peter Fridd was charged with disobeviug an order of the Court of 6s a week for the maintenance of Ins illegitimate child. The arrears to April 2ikl were £7 16s. . . The Magistrate ordered him to be imprisoned for one month, but-the warrant to be suspended from week to week provided accused paid .-£1 per week.
