The Ashburton County Racing Club's autumn meeting was concluded this afternoon under favorable conditions, the weather being bright and sunny iand the attendance above the average, while the fields were again 'large. The totalisator investments were exceptionally heavy, the total for the meeting being £14,197 10s as against £11,526 10s in May, 1911, and £6183 10s in May, 1910, though on the latter occasion bookmakers were licensed.
