GRAND LODGE OF FREEMASONS.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, May 9. The communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge was concluded to-day. A scheme to enable the Provincial Grand Master to take with him an enlarged rstimie of city officers when visiting country lodges was debated at considerable length, and eventually the solution of the problem was left to the Board of General Purposes. The question of providing n regular income for widows and the aged Masons? fund was referred to the Board of Benevolence. The report of the special committee of Provincial Grand Masters on their conference in Wellington was adopted, with a slight amendment. 'The Board of Grand Lodge Trustees, consisting of Bros. Poss.-Glark. Moller, Watts, and Stoneham, was set tip for llie period during which the executive is stationed in Dunedin. It was decided that the Board of General Purposes should consider the question of the disparity in the size of the present Masonic districts. The Grand Lodge will meet in Auckland next May.
