PRESS STRIKE IN CHICAGO.
PAPERS DELIVERED UNDER POLICE GUARD. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] (Per Press Association.) New York, May 9. The press-room employees of all the newspapers in Chicago have struck. They endeavored to prevent the publication of the newspapers, and the effort was partly successful, as the papers are appearing a-quarter the usual size. The men are now seeking a nation-wide strike.
