WAITAKI ANGLICAN MISSION.

The annual meeting of Parishioners of-the Waitaki Mission was held in the Chapel attached to the Vicarage . on Tuesday evening the 9th inst- the Vicar Rev. H. . Sholto Bishop - in the chair. After prayers, the Vicar read tlie notice convening the meeting, and made a few introductory.,remarks then called upon the; acting cHurch -officer to read the audited balance-sheet. This was done and afterwards, passed by the meeting as -correct. The new Committee was "afterwards elected as follows Mr Y. T. Shand.to represent Ngapara, Mr T. G. Paulin, Tokaralii; J. Adams, Maerewhenua; R. Thomas, Otekaike; W. Gard. Otiake; H. T. Black, C. Evison, and H. G._Deal, Kurow,-the latter .gentleman being appointed church offcer,; Mr T. E. Tomlinson to represent Haka Valley, and Mr. Pochin, Duntroon. A , short resume of his work was given by ; the Vicar, in the course of which he incidentally remarked that to March 31 he ,'liadl covered over. 1000 miles in the gig, and had called 1 on upwards of 800 people.Tlip usunl votes of thanks were given, fnd the benediction being given the meeting closed. ,
