President .Taft has altered tho Panama Canal Board of Health regulations in order to permit of mental healing of the practice of- religious utilising of shch healing, provided the sanitary laws and other health regulations" at' present prevailing in the canal zone are - adhered to. Tho arrangement was the Testilt of persistent agitation by the Christian Scientists.
