THE BAY OF BISCAY.
Received December 27, at 9.30 a.m. London, December 26. £ The steamer Lincairn, which has arrived ,in the Clyde, picked up seven rrew of the English steamer (jnflleinet, which foundered in the Bay ofVßiscay. Sixteen others of the crew The Lincairn also witnessed the foundering of an unknown Spanish steamer, hut was unable to rescue anyone.

THE WARATAH.
(Pes Peess Association.) Anckland, December . 27. lifebuoy bearing the name "Waratah," covered with barnacles, has been found, afc- Waiuku, off the west coast. Unfortunately the name, which was very clear when the buoy was found, was destroyed by the finder when removing the harnacles.
