Received December 22, at 4.50 p.m. Alexandria, December 22. ' The-warship Puglia seized in the Red Sea the steamer Manzaleh, bound- for Hodiedah, with £30,000 aboard. Received December 24, at 5.5 p.m. London, December 23. The underwriters regard the seizure of the British steamer Manzaleh as a grave insult to the flag. The bullion aboard was from Alexandria, and was insured in Paris, and largely reinsured, in London. Received' Decemlier 25, at 0.25 a.m. Paris, December 23. Advices from Azizia state that the Italians were repulsed with the loss of two hundred. (The Turks Wad twelve killed and thirty wounded. The Turkish version of the engagement near Ainzara states that the Italians lost their way,- and a. detachment was cut off and pursued to Ainzara. The Italians lost five hundred and the Turks twenty. Received December 25, at 5-5 p.m. Rome, December 24. The Italians captured the Turkish hospital ship Kaiserich. They allege that there were no beds, surgical appliances, .or medical stores aboard. The Kaiserich was seized on suspicion of being a Turkish transport for Arabia.
