UNIVERSAL PICTURES
There was a fair audience at the Opera House on Saturday night despite the. fact of it being Christmas shopping night, The programme •••crcened was an excellent one, being well up to the high standard set by Messrs Jno. Fuller and Sous. Last night's audience at the Opera House filled the building in all parts, and a programme of new and interesting matter was screened. Interest was idded to tho programme by the appearance of Mrs Batson, who rendered "The Lost Chord" in first-rate manner. She was loudly applauded, and gave as an encore "Grow. Little Mushroom. Grow." To-night tho management announce a Tather attractive programme, with the star film, "The Battle of 1 rafalgar.'' This is mentioned as a production on a somewhat elaborate scale, and as the name implies introduces incidents of the terrific encounter. Several scenics. a Pa the Gazette, and some irresistible comics help to swell a hohdav bill.
