COLUMBA CHURCH.

The annual prize-distribution in connection with the Children's Attendance League of. the a hove Church took place at the close of the morning service on Sunday last. Mr AY. Croji, as convener of the League, stated, in his report, that during the year 72 boys and girls had attended with great regularity. Of these 21 had attended church every Sunday at least once, and were consequently entitled to first-class prizes, i while 23, who had been absent only ■ once, would receive second-class prizes. r In addition to the above there were nine children who had been absent only twice, and 19 who had missed more than . twice, but whose absences were due to circumstances over which they had no control, such as sickness and bad weather. The nine "would receive third/ class prizes and the 19',"special" prizes." The following is the prize-list:— One year's membership:—lst Class: Win. In closing his report, Mr Crcm thanked the donors of the prizes, and intimated that all children under 15 years on the 4th of February next would be eligible to become members of the League for the ensuing year.
