Professor von Wassermann, a distinguished bacteriologist, in a paper before the Medical Society, stated that he had made experiments with mice affected by carcinoma and sarcoma, two forms of- cancer. An injection of losin and selenium softened the tumors within three days, and the last remnant was completely absorbed a week later. Herr Wassermann issues a warning against the assumption that the cure is necessarily applicable to human beings, on whom experiments have not yet lieen tried.
