PERSONAL.

Miss Somerville, pupil teacher at Otepopo School, was presented by her scholars at the broaking-up ceremony with a handsome silver-mounted brush and comb, as a token of esteem and regard on the occasion of her transference to the Musselburgh School. The presentation was gracefully made by Margaret Robertson, the senior girl. The Oamaru Hospital Trustees acknowledge with thanks the gift of £2 2s from Tie Yen towards the hospita 1 funds.
