SPORTS PROTECTION LEAGUE.
(Per Press Association.; Gisborne, December 21. A well-attended meeting last evening decided to form a Gisborne Centre of the Sports Protection League. Mr J. W. Nolan, Crown Prosecutor, presided, and after the aims ,of the League were outlined by the general secretary (Mr A. Paape), Mr J. W. Nolan was elected president of the local centre, and. a strong committee was appointed.
