LARGE PROPERTY, SALE. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, December 20. Balmoral Station; Amuri County, containing 45,000 acres, subdivided into fifteen blocks, was offered by auction to-day. The keenest interest was shown in the sale, which was attended by nearly 300 people. The bidding for the larger blocks was very satisfactory, and a complete clearance was effected at good prices. The demand for the farms was not quite so good in some few cases, but the few lots passed in will probably be disposed of in the near future. The total amount realised was £140,226, and prices ranged from 30s to £l3 per acre. The larger areas realised £2 5s to £4 7s 6d per acre.
