DUNDEE STRIKE.

Tin.- Dundee carters demand a minimum v.au'e of 2iis weekly, and the dockers an advance of a penny an hour. All the .-ma 1I«.t tirms have conceded the demand*. The railway companies and the larger firm-; have refused. Troops have heen despatched to Dundee. Tom Mann protested to Lord Haldane that the troops wtjre calcuiated to incite disorder. Tin? Strike Committee guarantee order if they are recalled. Received December 21. a 10.55 a.m. London, December 20. Twenty thousand mill-workers at Dundee have been thrown idle. The strikers are attacking lorries, one being thrown into the dock to-day, and the mill lassies are overturning coalcarts. The military are quartered at the Drill Hall and have not yet been called out for duty.
