UNIVERSAL PICTURES.

Four magnificent 1000 ft dramatic etories of great interest are the leading portion of to-night's programme at the Opera House. Two of these subjects are hv the favorite Vitagraph Co., the productions being: ''The Charging of Silas Marner" and "Peace Offerings." The well-known A.B. Co. have also a good representative film in "The Thief and the Girl," a powerful and exciting story. One of the Pathe Co.'s beautiful colored films is also to he shown. •'Chemical Actions. 7 ' an educative film: and a good picture of Fogwell and Barry sculling should prove highlv. interesting. A novelty picture entitled "Five Graceful Girls" will also be screened. The comedies most amusing- a 1000 ft production of the Vitigraph.- Co.'s being contained in the list. Foolshead will also he seen in a new role, and the "Robber Catching Machiio" is guaranteed to_ causemuch amusement. The usual prices will admit, and the Pathe Orchc.-tra will hcin attendance.
