The Coronation Picture.

Of all the scenes which the Ceronation will present, there is no part of the whole around which so great an interest centres as that which will form the great picture of the history of the future—that of the Queen and her attendant maidens. Never, surely, lias so effective a grouping been devised at any previous Coronation; the stately fair-haired Queen, in all the panoply of State, of crimson robes, rich brocade, and priceless jewels, under the gorgeous canopy supported by four of the mostbeautiful leaders of society, and round her the maids of honor, who are to he clad in gowns of silver tissue, thus making a contrast to the gold and glitter all around, while* at the same time, harmonising with the frocks cf white satin and pearls to be worn by the girl • train-bearers, who will .also be crowned with, white roses. These latter are all now busily practising for their duties, as the office of train-bearer to the Queen, which on such occasion is by no means a "facou de parleur," the weight of the train, with its ornamentations of bullion gold "embroideries being no small matter, and effective grouping being an absolute necessity, otherwise half the beauty would he lost.
