LAX SUPERVISION"OF -MEAT. Keceived June 3, at 10-55 a.m. Melbourne, June 3. The Minister of Customs denies the reported las supervision of meat for export. He states that since the Commonwealth took over control supervision was much keener, and the result was a noted great improvement iu Australian meat arriving in London. He attributes the report to the fact that additional stringency in inspection had curtailed the profits of certain exporters.
