Lord Kitchener, speaking at Ipswich, s:ud jvh<oi be was in Tibet, lie, at the instance of Boer friends, sent to South Africa a dozen sacks of Tibotan wheat immune from rust. Years afterwards he was shown in South Africa a similar product called "Kitchener" wheat, which was a blend between Boer and Tibotan wheat.
