(Pee Pk'ess Association) " Christ-church, June 2. The New Zealand Boxing Council last meeting dismissed. Rudd's appeal against disqualification by the Hawte's Bay Association. It was decided that the Association'was amply justified in its action, and further in view of what had ocbutred in the' ring in the Rudd-Black-more contest neither man be given further matches in New Zealand.or .be allowed to identify himself with the sport in the Dominion. The Council recom!m'eri<3ed that the New Zealand championships be held at Invercargill on July 24 and 25. The Queensland Association reported that the Australasian championsliips would commence at Brisbane on September 7.
