STUDHOLME AND WILLOWBRIDGE NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) On Frid:iv evening hist the unmarried ladies of Stndholuie held their :mnu:il hall (fancy or plain dressi in tlio liallnnton School. A large number of young people congregated together, and the grand march, which took place at 8.15 p.m., was a very pleasant scene, the ladies and several gentlemen looking very well in their fancy dress. The dance was much enjoyed hy all present. and everything passed off without a hitch under the capable management of the Bros. I', and 0. Hunter, who are always willing to give their services as M.C.'s. Mr M ; Alecr, from Morven, rendered very pleasant and sweet music, played in such a manner that the company could not help dancing. (Jrent credit is due to Miss Evans and her hard-working committee for the very efficient manner in which the programme of dances and everything that tends to make an enjoyable evening were arranged. The party eventually. broke up, after a most enjoyable time, at about 3.30 a.m.
