The elections for the constituent?' sembly have passed without incident, the parties hostile to the Republic not taking part. Practically all the 231 Deputies returned are Republicans, with a few Socialists. It is expected there will be no organised Opposition in the Assembly. The elections in the Oporto district passed off tranquilly.
