[Bv Ej,ect»ic Covyhicht.] (Pep. Pjikss Association-.) Received -May 20, at 9.5 p.m. Newcastle, May 26. At tho half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New youth Wales the profits wore stated, to be £204,373, to which £57,342 had to be added from last year. A dividend at the rate tif 10 per cent, was declared, carried to reserve £53,"2?>5, and carried forward £62,113. The new Capital paid up amounted to £186,910. making the capital £2,913,820. The chairman stated that the deposit*, especially fisted, were still on the increase owing to the general prosperity and accumulation of monev awaiting investments. The bills' discounted, loans, and advances showed an increase of £2,400,000, well spread throughout Australia and New Zealand.
