Board represents New South Wales,. Mr C. R. Andrews West Australia and Queensland; South. Australia and-.-Tasmania being represented by t the "':. Ageiits-Generalj and New Zealand by the' High Commissioner. Earl Meath welcomed the delegates. President of the Board"of Education, who presided, said the object, of the Conference was to bring to. the common stock the intellectual forces of the Empire. The educator was by his influence producing men in whom lay imperial strength.
