DUNEDIN RACES. (Peb Press Association.) Dunedin, February 25. ■ The Dunedin Jockey Club's autumn meeting concluded to-day in fine weather. There was a large attendance. During the three days the sum of £37,487 was invested on the totalisator as against £23.326 at the corresponding meeting of last year. Kcsults: Dunedin Jockey Club Handicap, of 350 sovs; one mile and a-quarter. —Rose Noble, 8.3 (Gray) 1: Iranui, 8.13 (Ryan) 2; Genius (Bcgbic), 3. Also ran: Prim 8.13, Cronstadt 7.5, Gapon 6.10, Stratagem 6.7, Pretty Face 7.1. Rose Noble came with a great rush 200 yards from home and won by a short length, Genius a length and a-half away, Prini fourth. Stratagem broke a fetlock the straight and did not finish. Time, 2min 8 2-osec. Hopeful Handicap, of 125 soys; five furlongs.—Avarice, 9.8, 1; Daringdale, 8.9, 2; Pert, 7.2, 3. Also ran: Sweet Ann 7.0. Won easily by a long neck. Time, linin 4 3-ssec. Abbotsford "Welter Handicap," of 130 sovs; six furlongs.—Kostroma, 8.0, 1; Seagar, 7.7, 2; All Guns, 9.9, 3. Six others started. Won by a length and a half. Time, lmin 16 3-ssee." Waihola Handicap, of 100 sovs; five furlongs.—Thistledown, 9.5, 1; Wind-' .ward, 8.3, 2; Crosbie, 7.7, 3. - Ten others started. Won by. half a length. Crosbie close up third. Time, lmin 3 3-ssec. Wingatui Handicap, of 150 sovs; seven furlongs.—Puaka, 6.13. 1; Chief Lochielj 8.8, 2; Armstrong, 7.2, 3. Sis others started. Won by a good length.' Armstrong a.length away' third; Time, lmin 29sec.
