. STRENGTHENED BONDS. [By Electric Telegraph—Copykight.] (Per Press Association.) Tokyo, January 25.. Count Eomura, in the House of Representatives, declared that the AngloJapanese alliance was constantly gaining strength, ensuring perfecT accord and genuine goodwill. The alliance continues a powerful factor in the general peace of the Far East. The Speaker said that tariff negotiations were proceeding with the various Powers, aiming to re-establish for the Japanese a complete tariff autononry and eliminating unequal engagements. He hoped a satisfactory treaty with Britain would shortly be concluded.
