A Timaru message reports that Mr "William t Grant, the well-lmown 1 sheepbreeder, died suddenly in bed df heart complaint on Saturday morning, aged '65 j ears 1 . *A native of Inverness, he "came to .New Zealand in 1864, and soon commenced stock dealing and supplying meat to the iWest Coast diggings, m which he prospered rapidly.
