YOUNG PEOPLE'S DAY.

ST. PAUL'S CHURCH. Yesterday was Young People's Day in the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, and-, throughout .the Dominion one speeiftl order of .service was conducted in all Presbyterian Churches. In St. Paul's Church, nt the forenoon service the Sunday School scholars to the number of quite 200 occupied the front ol the church. The Rev. Mr Porter preached, a -splendid sermon lor the voung people, his subject being the lad's pait in the miracle of the ieediiiift ot the five thousand. The attention ol the young folks was a noticeable feature in the service. 1 rizes gained b\ scholars at the Assembly s recent examination for Sunday schools were distributed after service to the number of 61 in all.
