Is keen very low iu the south, but tss men in tho north since midnight;' and ia the .south since 6 a.m. Rain has fallen in all parts of the country, and. ceavily on the West Coast. The present Mirations are for gales from the nst and south in all parts of the country. Much colder weather may be expected, with heavy rain in parts and snow on the higher levels. Tlio barometer will probably rise everywhere. The seas will probably be very heavy on the western coast and considerable s>utiirard of East Cape. .
