Plaintill' claimed on account of injuries allied to lit- dun to the ncsrlijTcnco of the I'oMid's officers. He had undergone an operation in the Ashburton Hospital, and while under an ansestheiic had been Rept warm hy the use of a hot water bottle. The bottle proved leaky, and plaintiff was severely scalded. The case tinned on the quality cf the bottle used and the decree of care that had been taken in the operation. The jury found a verdict for the defendant board, with ? | rider added that .accidents occuring cu the operating table should be lmme- ■ diately reported.
