Sir Ernest Casscl is establishing, at a cost of £200,000, an Anglo-German Institute in memory of King Edward, with' the object of facilitating employment .'rendering assistance to English workers in Germany and German workers in England, including governesses and seamen. The Queen, King, Queen Alexandra, the Kaiser, and Empress are patrons. (Per Press Association.) - Wanganui, August 17. The Wanganui Hospital. Board decided to-day to erect an eightcen-bed ward at the hospital.
