He was twice sucked under by a whirlpool. The Elsa picked up 65. The East African liner Khedive has b- eii totally wrecked on the rocks at Cape Morgan, South Africa. An officer was drowned. The vessel was valued at £70,000, and her cargo at i's'j.OOU.
