Considering the money the Australians made in their short South African tour, when most of them were put up in travelling free or at greatly reduced- rates, the South Africans cannot be accused of grasping. The South Africans do not intend to ask Abe Bailey to foot the bill, r'feeling that Australia should not' expect all the fun and none of the. risk. The trip is regarded as definitely off.
