He said an agreement had -been 'readied with the dominions regarding the treatment of the question. The Bill provides that the author is the only person whose consent is necessary to enable a newspaper in one country to borrow, from a newspaper n another, any serial story, tale or literary, _ scientific, or artistic article. Dramatists and musicians will be betIyer protected than before. The Blue Book on the copyright conference has been published. The Copyright Bill gives authors protection for a life of fifty, years from the date of publication.
