ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

(Per Presb Association.) Wellington, July 26. John Thomas White, who had boon a boarder at 14, Bingham street, for the' last sixteen years, died suddenly this morning. Deeoasod, who had boon subject to fits, was sitting in a chair iu front of the iiro when he suddenly fell and expired almost immediately. His body was taken to tho morguu where an inquest will probably bo hold. At an early hour this morning 'AnRiddle, a married man, whoso family reside at Petono, was seriously injured at Dimock's bacon factory at Ngfthauranga. Riddle and anotlniman were engaged in oiling tho bearings of tho overhead machinery; Riddle lost his balance and fellhead downward to the concrete floor 20 or 30 foot below. Ho fractured his skull and broke an arm and several ribs. Jln was picked up in an unconscious condition and brought into the 'hospital, where he lies in a. critical condition. Riddle is 4S years of age, and has boon in the employ of Dimock and Company for a considerable time.
