ANARCHY IN SPASM.

As Senlior Maura, exrPremicr of Spain, alighted from a train at Barcelona, he was fired at twice, and wounded in the arm and leg. A third bullet struck Senlior Maura's friend, and wounded him seriously,. The assailant was caught. Madrid, July 24. His wife and other relatives* accompanied Senlior Maura. The latter, with a lady and a cousin, after the second shot, seized the assailant, who is a carrier named Roca, aged 18. The outrage is attributed to revenge on account of Senlior Maura's severe suppression of the insurrection last year. Received July 25. at 9.45 a.m. - Madrid, July 24. iJoca, who attempted to assassinate tiic Spanish ex-Premier, declares lie acted spontaneously, has no accomplices, and does not belong to any secret society.
