The Rev. D. C. Bates telegraphed at ?ui to-day as follows: —Westerly icJerate to strong winds prevailing, :d probably backing after 10 hours: eather cold and changeable; probably frost to-night: glass unsteady, but it'a a falling tendency: sea, considerate swell: tides good on the coast, but ratably sea decreasing.
