The appointments of John M'Murtrie. and William Grant Munro, as telegraph messengers at Oamaru and Kurow spectiyely, are gazetted. - The Dunedin Presbytery sustained the call to tin- Rev. W. Gray-Dixon, of St. David's. Auckland, to replace the Rev. Chisholni. of Roslyn. The Hon. R. M'Nab, who lectured at the Opera . House la c t night for the benefit of i!u> Cook Memorial Fund,, paid :i visit to the Waitaki Boys' High School tills morning, and later left by the express for Dunedin. .
