GISBORNE'S DREDGE.
(Pee Phess Association.) Gisborne, Jnne 22. The Gisborne Harbor Board to-day tak over the dredge Maui from the contractors, Simmons and Co., Glasgow. I: cost is £34,500, and with the hop;er barges and accessories the total exienditure will be near £40,000. It is toped by Christmas time to have the cknnel so deepened that vessels of the Mapourfka, Takapuna, and Rotoiti will be able to tie up to the rtiarf.
