June 21. • The House of Representatives has resolved that the President appoint ?. commission of five distinguished Americans to confer with foreign Governments on the subject of world-wide peace. It is suggested that Mr yelt head the commission. Received June 22, at 5.5 a.m. Washington, June 21. The House of Representatives' resolution requires the Peace Commission -to consider the expediency of utilising existing international agencies for the purpose of limiting armaments by an international agreement and constituting :-the combined navies of the world as an international force for the prcservaion of universal peace. The Commission must report within two years.
