Advices by the English mail state ihat the Cambridge ethnological expedition will arrive in ' W'estralia next month, under the, leadership of Prolessor Brown, entomologist,*" and Mr Grant "Watson, geologist. Westralia has been chosen as the scene of operations as tho least known part of the continent
A second expedition sent by the Stockholm Academy of Science, under Dr Majoberg, will arrive in July. Dr Majobcrg will spend two years in the Kimberley district, tho object being to rolve the animal geographical question, and ascertain to what extent immigration has taken place from the Malay Islands, and its influence on the flora a lid fauna.
