NORTH OTAGO JOCKEY CLTFB. 1 The North Otago Jockey Club, in common with other clubs in this part of the Island, are benefiting from the marked revival of interest in the sport of horse-racing in these parts, and the nominations closed last night number 14 more than those of last year for the 'same twelve races. A feature of the entries is the fact that every stake has attracted its quota of aspirants, and every race under the skilful management of the Club's handicapper, should Ibe run by big fields. There are, besides the local horses, representatives in the lists from Wellington, Greymouth, Christchurch, Timaru, Ashburton, Dunedin, Waimate, Rivertou, and Invercargill. Never was there such a cosmopolitan galaxy or 1 aristocrats.
