CLEARING SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having hold a clearing sale yesterday on account of Mt .James Miller, Maheno, who-.had sold his farm. There was a large gathering of buyers and a very satisfactory sale resulted, competition being very animated. The following are the prices realised:—l draught 6-year-old mare, £46; 1 draught 6-year-old mare, £39; I draught gelding, £43; 1 draught 7-vear-old mare, £3S: 1 draught 8-year-old mare -£35 10s; 1 draught 3-vear-old gelding. £3O 10s ; 1 draught aged gelding, £2B 10s. Dairy coTvs, £7 to £7 10s: heifer, £5 ss; calves, las. Implements and sundries, of which there was a large quantity; sold very well.
