MILITARY CAMPING GROUNDS.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurcli, March 29. The Prime Minister, who arrived here this morning, states that Mr \\. O. Kensington (Under-Secretary ior Lands), Mr J. Strauohon (Chief Surveyor, W cllington), and Colonel H. D. Inson (member of the Defence Council), have been appointed a commission to go through both islands and make a selection of training grounds (one for each island) required for the training of tlio Territorials. . ' Training grounds are required mdependentlv of the recommendations made by Lord Kitchener. In connection with the area svstem, they will require to be sufficiently large to enable complete training to be carried out in all branches of the service, including gunnery. The commission, of which Mr Kensington lias been appointed chairman, will commence its work at an early date. '
